Carissa Crayton is the Governmental Affairs and Public Relation Liaison for the Alabama Department of Commerce. In 2022, Carissa represented the State of Alabama as a delegate to the NextGen Global Leaders Program at the United States Global Leadership Coalition. Carissa also serves on the Mayor’s Young Professional Council for the City of Montgomery. She is a recent graduate of the Alabama Leadership Initiative and has previously been featured in coverage for her work in Alabama by the Huffington Post, the Washington Post, and Gumptown Magazine.
