Youri Metin De Brabander is currently working for the Belgian Customs Administration, where he is responsible for the follow-up of the customs attachés, which are permanently stationed in Belgian Embassies throughout the world. Before this he served in the Belgian Armed Forces for a two years stint as a Field Artillery Officer. This was an enriching experience which equipped him for his further career. He studied history and international relations and he speaks seven languages fluently.
